KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Hani Mohsin Hanafi (pic), 43, collapsed and died at the low-cost carrier terminal in Sepang at 9.30am while waiting to board a flight to Alor Setar on Tuesday.
Mohsin was traveling with his nine-year-old daughter Hani Karmila -- from his previous marriage to Datin Seri Tiara Jacquelina -- when he complained of chest pains before collapsing.
Hani Karmila immediately called her mother, who rushed to the airport with husband Datuk Seri Effendi Norwawi.
Mohsin's remains have been brought to hospital for an autopsy.
Mohsin was the host of popular TV game show Roda Impian before his death.

Sorry la kengkawan coz tak ajak any one of you all gi jumpa Safiah on Thursday. Bukannya apa.. plan nak jumpa dia tu dah tertunda dari hari Selasa ke hari Rabu.. hari Rabu ke hari Khamis.. so takut jugak tak jadi pegi hari Khamis tu. Safiah pun demam sejak dari GJC kat JB lagi. Hari Selasa yang tak jadi jumpa tu kakak dia datang jumpa dia. Hari Rabu tu pulak, dia dah tak larat layan demam dia so dia makan ubat sampai knock-out tertidur. Nak jadikan cerita, phone dia pulak rosak. Myself pulak dok call dia bagai nak rak tapi asyik masuk voicemail je.. so i deduced that she must have been with some personal matters to settle and cannot be reached.

I was telling her pasal kita dok discuss pasal all teh nostalgic moments masa kat sekolah. I did warn her abt the number of emails she'll have in her hotmail box. Cerita gak kat dia pasal the "best actor" tu. Gelak besar Safiah sebabnya masa kat STF, Pn Saedah dah tak berapa cam dia masa they all jumpa. So, sebab dia kesiankan Pn Saedah lambat sanagt nak ingat nama dia, dia pegi la salam ngan Pn Saedah dan kenalkan diri dia. Bila Pn Saedah dengar je nama "Safiah Sahrom", terus Pn Saedah sebut "Safiah Baharom! Best Actor teater 1986" :) According to Safiah, Pn Saedah will always call her "Safiah Baharom" instead of Safiah Sahrom. Pn Saedah pulak cerita la dengan Safiah yang Pn Saedah dok bercerita dengan bebudak teater pasal Safiah sampai la sekarang. Ada masanya kita tak tau yang cikgu-cikgu kita kat STF tu sebenarnya bangga dengan certain students' achievements dan selalu jadikan these students sebagai contoh kepada their current students.

Anyways, one of the thing yang Safiah sebut masa we all dok sembang tu ialah dia ada biz plan untuk bukak ladies only gym. Concept of the gym semua dah siap dan partners pun dah ada. Kalau biz gym ni take off ground, insyaAllah dia akan balik KL lagi this Sep. Maybe kita boleh support dia la kan :) I'm sure Safiah will announce the opening of the gym later. So, sesiapa yang agak2 interested nak mencantikkan badan tu, mungkin boleh tunggu dan later enroll ngan Safiah :D

About the photo..
It is my most recent taken in March/April 2006 during our tour of New Zealand..and the one that readily available in my computer.. I was on the ferry (Interislander) crossing from North Island to South Island.. We (with my husband and my 2 sons)spent about two weeks touring New Zealand in a campervan..New Zealand is extremely beautiful!..I will send some photos of us in Cairo with unta and pyramids..later, when I can find one!! I'm a bit disorganise here..I have it in a cd somewhere..
As for myself, I guess I have not changed much except for the extra kilos!! Safiah, I may need your gym soon..

memang Cik Salmah kena breast cancer and one side has been removed.
due to operation, she can't really lift up her arm. Dia memang rasa macam dia handicapped sangat coz she has to be very depending on her mother and sibblings. She'll surely gets excited kalau ada among her ex-students yang nak bagi dia moral support. At the time I met her a few months back, I was teary when I saw her. Kalau ada yang nak call dia, her mobile no is 013-7705373. She lives in Muar now but will go to her brother's house in Kajang bila dia kena datang check up kat UMMC.
I'm quite sure she remembers many of us, kalau tak ingat rupa pun, dia insyaAllah ingat nama. She's a primary school HM tapi dapat cuti sampai pencen. Tapi most probably dia dah pencen by now.

Pasal Bahasa Arab ni.. I ingat lagi satu masa kita buat comprehension bahasa arab, in 4(1) rasanya, mana ada paham apa pun.. Bila jawab soalan tu.. salin je soalan tu balik dan sambungkan dengan mana2 sentence dalam kefahaman tu yang bunyinye lebih kurang..(I don't know about others but that was how i did it!)... And Mahaza had a good laugh when we wrote ' Dia membawa lembu (or some animal) ke sekolah!' instead of buku or pensil........
Dalam kelas kita rasanya Suhana Jamal yang paling pandai Bahasa Arab...n tulisan jawi dia cantik betul...

Yang ajar b.arab to 'mamaton' kita panggil, nama dia Pn Zaitun, Pn Esah ajar ugama, kita ingat sebab masa ugama selalu tidur kat belakang dengan Ahab masa 4(3). Al maklumlah masa tu sibuk menari sampai tengah malam!!! One day I was caught sleeping head down by KD. Langsung kena berdiri kat belakang, belajar sambil berdiri masa the rest of the ugama period dan a period after that which is Add maths - Mr Ong!!!!
Masa rehat pi jumpa Pn Esah mintak maaf sebab dia pun kena marah ngan KD!!! Cian dia!!!
But the funny thing was just two or three week after that I was nominated jadi prefect!!! I rasa those time dia org saje memang nak kenakan org2 macam kita ni..Lepas kena tangkap ngan KD, kena tangkap pulak ngan prefect kita dok mendandan rambut Marine masam prep!! Teruslah nama tercalun!!!

If my memory serves me right, Mr Ng ajar kita Mod Maths masa form 4 - 5. Dia punya trademark after each sentence ada phrase "tu kan". Takkan tak ingat kot. Alah dia yang agak kurus and not so tinggi.
Encik Masdar tu memang baik. Bukan ke dia tu 'penjaga' kita masa tu (form 4). There was a system in STF yang a few students will be put under the care of one teacher. Then masa form five I was under Encik Ramli (wife dia pun ngajar kat STF - depa baru balik from UK masa tu). I met this Encik Ramli masa I was in Celcom Academy (1995). Masa tu dia dah kat Kementerian Pendidikan.

Aku still remember En. Mazlan tu. Bila class dia aku mesti tido sebab boring giler. Macam tak leh masuk dalam kepala apa yang dia ajar. Sebab tulah Add Maths aku kantoi masa SPM. Yang pelik tu bila masuk U maths cam not so susah. May be the approach tu tak berapa kena kot.

I know where Azma Azalina is. At least her sister, Aida Adzura can update us. Aida works in Celcom, as sitting 2 cubicles away from me. Latest news about her, she is in Kuala Krai Hospital - Eye specialist. Anak 5 org. Kemaruk ngan Ikea. Always come down gi shopping kat Ikea. She will come down to shop at Ikea on 17 July 06. Her contact no. is 012-9542534. I did ask her sister to inform her about our dinner at Putrajaya, last year. At the time, she was pregnant. Berat nak jalan la tu + all the symptoms of pregnancy.

I will never forget Azma Azalina Ahmad Alwi yang suka nyanyi "who took the cookie from the cookie pot" kat Chem lab dan bila sampai part "Cik Ahid took the cookie from the cookie pot", mesti dia tinggi suara dia sampai almost kedengaran ke telinga Cik Ahid. I really hope one day I'll get to know Azma's whereabouts. mimi: i thought i made the school history being caught tidor in class ugama (of all classes) by KD.. rupa-rupanya ada org lain yg kena jugak! But in defence, i'm sure it was during the netball tournament season kan Mimi??? kalau tak takkan kite tidur dlm class kot... he he he
Zaimah: it was me who was caught by KD in the ugama class .. i also remember Roro was (at the same time) caught reading readers digest and Rohanis tgh berborak (dgn siapa tak sure)...
i thought the "balik raya haji" adventure was the best! By the time we got on the bus, dah lalu mcm -mcm tempat and our baju dah kotor! i remember you were quite afraid to panjat the gate and we had to pujuk and encourage you... talk abt influence! if i remember correctly we had a rep that went out the school via a car and the rest of us waited at the highway.. was it ouzrei?

Talking about Mr. Ong, masa GJC dinner tu we get to sit with the current STF girls and the girl sitting next to me said Mr. Ong still lagi bagi stars for homework yang semua betul...I ingat lagi dulu kalau homework semua betul tapi tak ada itu bintang, siap demand kat Mr. Ong and he will tersenyum simpul and obliged us with the bintang. I guess the teachers will carry their "trademark" throughout their teaching lives.

Somebody mentioned Chemistry teacher yang selalu pecah suara, namanya En. Ahid, I still remembered his statement masa marah we all sebab bising and tak pay attention dalam kelas.He said: "Saya tahu saya lemah...and etc"...we all burst out laughing when he said that.

And to all 5 Science Ones who are on this list...ingat tak siapa kena kejut dgn KD masa tidur dalam kelas....if I am not mistaken masa tu Pn. Esah (Ugama) was teaching....ha..ha..ha that was truly a classic moment......I'm laughing out loud while writing this email.

To the gang yang panjat pagar belakang sebab nak balik raya haji or was it chinese new year......I still think that was a magnificent feat if I say so myself yang memanglah tak athletic ini.

Those were truly the days (eh...bukan ke we, the school band, used to play lagu Those Were The Days dulu...)...we were a naughty bunch to say the least but we didn't turn out to be too bad, huh.

The thing is she remembered that conversation and remembered pujuk i sebab i malu sesangat menjatuhkan percentage STF.

I also remembered the run, the 100m run to dining hall, as if the food is not enough for all of us. I did take the photo, tapi guna camera Ouzrie.

By the way, I jumpa Cik Ramlah. She adopted one srikandi. Jgn tanye nama dia, though I borak dgn dia. I think a year or a few years younger than us, coz I have seen her face. She mentioned that she became so close with Cik Ramlah and treated her like her 2nd mother. She even asked for her blessing before marrying her husband. And at the time, the girl brought her kid, and Cik Ramlah kata tu cucu dia. So cute.... Cik Ramlah said that she akan pencen in 2 months time.

Dear Eina,
Trip ke rumah En Masdar tu memang tak boleh lupa. Rumah bujangkan and we make full use of whatever cooking utensil masa nak masak. Maka nberimpit-impit But it was fun.. Masa tu dai tak kawin lagi. He was very close to us. I ingat my allowance pun dia yang simpan, sebab banyak kes duit hilang and nak keluar duit kat pos bergerak tu pun susah. Eina and Noura still look the same. But Sofiah look different. I still ingat dia.. yelah 5 years in the same dorm. Anyway Eina and Noura glad that you had a nice time there. Take care.

I teringat En Masdar tu . Dia ajar Prinsip Akaun and Commerce kat Soc Sai. Ingat lagi dia selalu marah Zie (Nor Azimah Amat - ex band girl main tom-tom) and Mona Annuar sebab selalu main mata dengan En Masdar. Mr Ng selalu marah Mona sebab lambat paham Mod Maths. Lagi satu i tak ingat cikgu yang ajar Add Maths. Anybody remember? La... Dah ingat dah. Nama dia En Mazlan. Dia tu tak pernah tukar tie dia and pergi kelas tak pakai socks. Dia rajin jugak marah Marina dengan i. Sebab kite orang ni ahli panel duduk kat row belakang. Yelah macamana nak belajar asyik sibuk berborak kat belakang. Dahlah tak pandai. I ingat one question dia tanya i, "Rusgena, u ni ada keturunan Arab ke?".
1st wife En Masdar tu dah meninggal masa gave birth tu his 1st child. Dah lama baru dapat tackle Cik Ayer Mana. Dulu, En Pardan tu (yang ajar lukisan tu) orang kata ada scandal dgn Pn Saidah. Dia kawin dengan En Pardan ke? Anybody please answer to that! Ingat lagi masa En Masdar jemput makan rumah dia. Siapa ye masak masa tu, tak ingatlah. Tak berapa sedap. Yelah bebudak lagi manalah pandai masak. Masak air pandailah. Jangan Marah!
Lepas tu teringat masa prep kena berdiri sebab bercakap dalam kelas . Masa tu Cik Nahar jadi Warden. I tak ingat siapa yang lari dalam toilet sekali bila bukak pintu toilet Cik Nahar tunggu depan pintu. Masa SPM week, kite orang gi pasar malam ikut gate belakang tapi bila masuk balik Mona tersepit tak muat nak ikut celah gate.Pak Guard yang tolong bukak gate. Yang pelik masa pergi boleh muat, masa balik pulak tak muat. Mona, jangan mare!
Teringat juga tangga kat 5 Soc Sai tu sempat ambik gambar sebelum prep dengan Rose Anida. Lepas tu sesiapa yang terjun dalam kolam kat tepi kelas tu masa basuh kolam. Tak ingat ke? Enjoy betul masa zaman bebudak dulu.Sekarang ni bila anak-anak nakal bukan main kite marah. Padahal they all tak tau emak dia lagi terror masa sekolah dulu.
Ok guys, setakat itu aje yang i ingat. Tapi yang still tak boleh lupa, ari tu masa STF Dinner 2006, During the time Anuar Zain menyanyi. Letih menjerit and sibuk panggil Anuar Zain kat meja tapi dia tak nak datang. Takut agaknya kat kite orang. Lagi satu, can't forget masa Zaimah nak petik bunga kat tepi stage just to give it to Anuar Zain. Bunga tu degil tak nak tercabut. At last tercabut jugak but it was really funny at that time coz' our table dekat dgn meja VVIP. Sebab taulah bila dah semua orang sibuk nak jumpa Anuar Zain, dah tak kisah VVIP ke apa ke. Janji happy kan! Ouzrei, thanks sebab sponsor for the table so that we have to pay only half of the actual cost.(masa dinner) I think itu aje yang teringat in my mind. it's good that we're going down memory lane here coz those were the precious years of our life which I wished I could turn back time to be there again, eventho I still hate some parts of those years. But, the good memories of STF still very close to my heart. Esp now after 20 years I can be frens with Pn Saedah. Some of my classmates masa Form 1-3 will still remember yang I dulu minat gak la kat Pn Saedah tu *LOL*
Bila ingat2kan, kelakar pun ada, bodoh pun ada. But, having the chance to see and talk to her again, make me feel happy. Mana nak sangka satu hari, after 20 years, we met in KL and when she saw me, she almost screamed saying "eh Rose, mana you pegi selama hari ni? I cari you tau.." Rasa macam bangga sangat coz my ex-teacher remembers me :)
anyways, just to add to your story down there:
1] Mr Ong is also still around. For the 5 Sc 1 class, I guess Noni and Atah will remember Mr Ong most for his "tempias" whenever he talks
:) Bukan niat I nak mengaibkan dia tapi that's what some of us remember of Mr Ong. As for me, I was so embarrassed nak tegur Mr Ong when I met him in school before GJC as I was never awake in his classes. Kalau dia mengajar 2 period, 2 period la I tido.. that's why tak pernah pass Add Maths masa sekolah dulu. But I got lucky masa SPM coz dapat Add Maths P8, setakat pass je. Abt Mr Ng tu I dengar je yang dia still around but I think I can't remember how he looks like anymore :( Ada 2 lagi yg still mengajar - Puan Chong (ada in one of the photos) and En. Ng, I think. Dua2 tak ajar I, so tak masuk nama Mr. Ng tu dlm kepala I.
2] En Masdar's wife's name is Pn Ayer Mana. With his 2nd wife, Pn ....mana. Tak ingat la.. used to teach in STF. She said after about 7 years she resigned and become housewife. En. Masdar is such a romantic husband...

FYI, Cik Saedah (now Pn Saedah) is still around. I think she is orang kuat pengetua STF now. She also remembers the Best Actor very well and always quoted her during her classes.
Current STFian panggil pengetua sekarang "Bonda". Such motherly name.
Ada 2 lagi yg still mengajar - Puan Chong (ada in one of the photos) and En. Ng, I think. Dua2 tak ajar I, so tak masuk nama Mr. Ng tu dlm kepala i.
En. Masdar now dah jadi Pengetua kat sekolah somewhere in JB. He has 5 children now. The first one is now 23 years old. The one with his first wife. Soc Sci people mesti ingat kisah En Masdar.
With his 2nd wife, Pn ....mana. Tak ingat la.. used to teach in STF. She said after about 7 years she resigned and become housewife. En. Masdar is such a romantic husband...
Soc Sci gals, ingat tak kita pergi rumah En. Masdar and makan nasi dalam dulang. I remember that very well since that's the first and I have never ate like that until now.

Thanx so very much for sharing the lovely picture with us. Surely proud to have been there, aye :) How I wished I could but I'm surely thankful for the chance Allah gave me to be there during the day on that historic Saturday. Eventho my stay was short, I can still feel whatever proud feelings I felt that day to be an ex-student of STF. Having to meet some of our ex-teachers and seniors plus juniors who still remember me was some terrific moments I'll cherish for many more years to come. As for building the foundation for the next 50 years, insyaAllah we can talk abt it whenever you have some time to spare. Do tell so that I can apply for leave :) salams

Ouzrei, Eina Man, Noura and Safiah,
Here's our photo at the dinner. I wished I had taken more at the Merdeka Restaurant (the after party??) but I guess we were enjoying the football match between England and Portugal so much that we forgot to take pictures there as well.
Eina, there will be another World Cup in 4 years time and England will probably qualify so don't fret! Becks will probably not be there but I'm sure his replacement will be cuter than he is!
Noura, I hope you've finally gotten rid of that wind. I'm glad I wasn't rooming with you then...he.he..he. I'm sure it's all the stress from organizing the GJC :-)
Safiah, it was nice seeing you again, you have changed a lot from the Safiah that I knew in STF but it's all for the better my friend. Let's continue to keep in touch.
Ouzrei, apo nak di kato....your appearance might have changed but deep down you are still the Ouzrei that I knew in STF. All the best in your new venture.
K.Long, I'm sorry that we missed each other, we were probably at the Senai airport at the same time but at different gates....bravo for the work that you did for this GJC. I have only one thing to say, moving forward let's try and build a foundation for the next 50 years of STF....but let's take that off line some time.
Ogy, I heard you were there at the carnival on Saturday. Tried calling you on the same day but your phone seem to be out of reach.
To the rest of you who were not there for whatever reasons, you've missed an opportunity but I'm sure there will be more along the way and I hope you will try not to miss it the next time.
For whatever it's worth, the school played a role in our lives, in shaping us to be who we are today and I'm sad to see the school in the state that it is today, it's physical state as well as it's spirit. From my perspective, it no longer have the soul it once had......the glory is diminishing if not diminished already.

Gals... since dah tengok gambar gambar ni..terasa pulak nak tengok muka org yang tek der dalam gamabr ni.... why not kita semua hantar gambar and 'someone' kumpulkan and upload to the yahoo photos? Noura minat kerja cam ni..he..he.... at least tak ler kenal nama tapi lupa rupa camno..... I yang pernah jumpa in person pun sapa je.... paling-paling...mimie tu pun dah lama yek mimie... jumpa hazqiyah.. tu pun in 2005 masa training... nampak syema kat pasar malam tapi x sempat tegur sebab dia laju sangat.... tu je ler kot...I ni kerja kat area UPM, rumah kat area UKM tapi tak pernah terjumpa you all yang kerja kat UKM and UPM......
p/s - eina & noura... ada satu gambar you all yang conteng tangan tu kan cheeky sangat..nampak macam perangai masa you all kat STF tu still ada lagi.

Hi Nini,I baru check gambar tu balik.Baju i for 2005 is dark blue, for 2006 light blue.... nampak sama ke? Sedih nye. I hv to make sure that tahun depan i pilih other colour. I baru perasan pun... agaknye in my heart still loyal to blue house kot...Belum check baju org lain lagi....
